More heart stopping first-hand accounts of bravery, misguided plans and endurance that lead to imprisonment in some of the toughest places on earth.

Amongst other extraordinary tales, this season features the mother of all Locked Up Abroad’s. Billy Hayes experiences in Turkey inspired the feature film ‘Midnight Express’ – now Billy adds many new explosive revelations to this classic ‘Locked Up’ tale. Then there is Jackie Nichols, a model who escapes to Japan to forget the tragic death of her boyfriend but find’s herself in a far worse situation. Or there’s classic dilemma from Tom Lynch and John White’s in Iraq when they are forced to choose between friends or family.
