Battlefront is back for 2010, bigger and badder than ever. This online/on-telly Channel 4 project will see twelve new young campaigners out on twelve new missions – from giving autism a chance to getting Britain smiling.
As esteemed guests at The Big Society launch – an event designed to bring people with ideas about improving their community together with Government ministers – Alex (Meet Your Street), Abbi (Anti-Bullying Shared) and Bella (Give Autism a Chance) were granted a few minutes with the newly-elected leader of our nation.

You can find out about more about their campaigns on the Battlefront website.

More heart stopping first-hand accounts of bravery, misguided plans and endurance that lead to imprisonment in some of the toughest places on earth.

Amongst other extraordinary tales, this season features the mother of all Locked Up Abroad’s. Billy Hayes experiences in Turkey inspired the feature film ‘Midnight Express’ – now Billy adds many new explosive revelations to this classic ‘Locked Up’ tale. Then there is Jackie Nichols, a model who escapes to Japan to forget the tragic death of her boyfriend but find’s herself in a far worse situation. Or there’s classic dilemma from Tom Lynch and John White’s in Iraq when they are forced to choose between friends or family.
