Have watched every "BANGED UP ABROAD" episode shown in UK and Ireland, but on watching the most recent episode "Saddm's Iraq" I was moved to tears. Those MEN told their story from their "hearts" which now even 10 years later is still "raw".I know an hour is just a blink into every story, but I sometimes feel as if I have had a hard life!! Those gentlemen are obviously strong in character as well as everything else cause u would have to have been a particular type of person to have survived what they did. Most definately the best episode YET!! I am glad they told their story and that they r gradually coming to terms with what they actually had to go through. Two very inspiritional and strong gentlemen whom I have so much admiration for!!!!

I am involved with production and love your show even more than the normal viewer because I know what it takes to put together a show. I am constantly amazed at the filming, casting and the editing used to tell each great story. Raw TV does such justice to each story and I cannot wait to see what lies ahead... I get chills each time it comes on. Do you offer any internships even if only for a week or month? I would love to learn from the best in the business!

here is my resume...

Hi! I am Guilermo González form Mexico City. I would like to share a story that happened to me in 2005 when I was on a trip in San Diego, for the episodes of "Locked up Abroad".
In short: I was walking on the street and suddenly a random guy approached and offered me a boat-trip, so I accepted and paid the trip. When I was in the boat, it came of the pier. I didnt know how to handle it so I was spinning around. Then the patrol arrived and looked me up. They thought I was trying to steal the boat, and that I was connected with handling drugs (even though they didnt find anything). So alot of mistreatments, happenings and experiences I lived during those eternal days when I was in prision. After some days I was called to court and they found out that I was innocent, so they said: "sorry, you are free". So my case was dismissed. I find interesting my story because I was really innocent and I lived and experienced alot of things that I never though I would had to live, I lived, talked, and slept next with drug-dealers, killers, thiefs... and so forth, they were not only my cell-mates but my family during those days. At the end this unfair happenings made me appreciate life and learn meaning of life.

I would like to share my experience around the world, so people not only can learn and be aware when they are on a trip abroad, but they can appreciate freedom and every single day in life. I am sure this series are a good mean to reach many people in the world.

Hopefully you can reach me and we can talk more specific about my story.

Thanks,

Guillermo González
